Founded in 2012 by Turkish wellness advocate Belgin Aksoy, Global Wellness Day (GWD) is celebrated annually on the second Saturday of June—this year on June 14th, 2025.

The goal? To inspire people around the world to prioritize wellness in simple, accessible, and powerful ways.

What began as a grassroots movement has now grown to include over 100 countries, all united by one mission: to live well and to spread wellness freely—because, as the motto says, “One day can change your whole life.”
